Lynn Ridgeway - President of CCW - Sheridan Deanery. Darleen Huddleston - D.P.C. - Sheridan Deanery. George Schafer, D.P.C. - Sheridan Deanery.

Rev. William Espenshade, Supervisor of Seminary Training Summer Program. Also Supervisor of newly ordained Clergy.

1980 - Church remodeled under direction of Rev. Cletus Prado.
1982 - New organ purchased - Rev. Cletus Prado.
1987-1988 - Remodeled St. Mary’s at Clearmont, under direction of Father Espenshade.
1988-1989 - Remodeled St. Herbert’s at Kaycee, under direction of Father Daley.

1980 - 1984 - Dave Larkin and Ron Dube; 1984 to present - Frank Proyinski and Pete Camino.

7. Pastor’s overview of the decade:
1980 to 1990 was a period of great activity and some turmoil, the parish says because of three Pastors and two administrators. Stability came in 1983 with Father Espenshade and “renew”. The “Renew” Program gave rebirth to the parish, which has seen St. John’s revitalize itself. The parish is a very involved place, highly esteemed in the community of Buffalo and a dynamo of faith filled activities. More things have happened, more parishioners are involved locally and statewide that at anytime in its over 100 year history.

1983 - 100th Anniversary.
1983-l985 - Renew Program.
1988 - National Pasque Convention.
1989 - C.C.W. State Convention.
1991 - First Mass of Rev. Peter Johnson (this might be forgotten ten years from now.)
