VISION OF WYOMING CATHOLIC SCHOOLS

We, the Wyoming Catholic School Community, in partnership with the Church will form the whole person through the Catholic culture of Christian discipleship, moral leadership and academic excellence for life-long service in a changing global environment.  We claim this vision as an act of faith.

MISSION STATEMENT

The community of St. Anthony Tri-Parish School is dedicated to achieving academic excellence in a faith-filled community, and living a life committed to Christian service.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”                                         Matthew 19:14

SPIRITUAL COMMITMENT

St. Anthony Tri-Parish School was established to provide students with a Christ–centered outlook on life.  We aim for academic excellence within an atmosphere of religious and moral training.  Along with formal subjects, the school strives to develop a sense of God, a sense of responsibility, a respect for authority, consideration for others and self-discipline in each student. These teachings will provide direction and certainty in the lives of each student.  These virtues are not only taught formally during religion instruction but are incorporated into all school class and activities.

CURRICULUM

St. Anthony Tri-Parish School follows the Department of Education’s approved curriculum as implemented by Natrona County School District #1.  The students take both WYCAS and Terra Nova tests to evaluate their annual progress.  These scores also function as a tool to help the school determine when to implement changes to ensure academic excellence.

FACTS ABOUT ST. ANTHONY TRI-PARISH SCHOOL

St. Anthony’s Catholic School was dedicated on September 27, 1927, in the belief that education is one of the most important ways that the Catholic Church fulfills its commitment to bring about the kingdom of God.

ADMISSION POLICY

We welcome all families of any denomination who desire a quality academic and Christian education.  The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age (in accordance with Wyoming State law), disability or religion.  All new students transferring to the school will need to meet admission standards and be subject to a probationary period.

 BEHAVIOR

An important aspect of the education of a child is the development of self-discipline.  Good discipline is essential to the creation of both a positive educational environment and an atmosphere of Christian growth.  The goal of St. Anthony’s is to encourage students to become responsible for their own actions and to accept the consequences of those actions.

Dress Code - Students in K – 9 grades are expected to abide by the school uniform regulations.

Closed Campus – Students are not permitted to leave the school grounds during the regular school day, including lunch period.

Homework – Homework is an important part of the school program.  Students at St. Anthony’s are expected to complete homework on time.

Visitors to the School – All visitors must enter the school at the main entrance and proceed to the office.  No unauthorized individuals will be permitted into the building to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Parental Involvement – Parents, family, and friends of the school are encouraged to participate in the children’s education.  Showing interest in what is learned, encouraging achievement, assisting with homework and projects, are just a few ways families can involve themselves in a child’s education.

Stewardship – Each family is required to volunteer 20 hours at the school annually and raise $500 through various fund raising projects.

Hot Lunch Program – We participate in the USDA School Lunch Program.  The USDA is an equal opportunity provider.  Free and reduced lunches are available for those who qualify.
