WELCOME TO ST. ANTHONY TRI-PARISH PRESCHOOL
PHILOSOPHY
St. Anthony Tri-Parish Preschool fosters a Christian atmosphere through Bible stories, finger play and prayers. Our goal in working with your child is to develop and expand a positive self-concept, physical coordination, language and communication skills, a desire to learn and discover, and positive relationships with others.
We follow a developmental curriculum that gives children many opportunities to make their decisions and follow through on their ideas. We emphasize basic preschool concepts: colors, shapes, numbers, letters, music, art and language. We also work with fine motor skills, listening and cooperative activities that are necessary as children go on in school.
TUITION
3 &4 year old tuition is $140.00 per month. A $25.00 nonrefundable registration fee is required. Young 5 year old tuition is $140.00 per month, with a $25.00 nonrefundable registration fee.
Our classroom management techniques include praise, positive reinforcement, and redirected and restructuring the environment. When necessary, we utilize a “Quiet Chair” for short periods. We try to maintain close home – school communication in this and all areas of preschool.
CLOTHING
Clothing should be comfortable and washable. Painting and other creative activities are offered daily, so play clothes are best. In cold weather your child will need a hat, mittens and coat as we have outdoor recess every day. A backpack is needed every day. Please label all items with your child’s name.
BIRTHDAYS
Birthdays may be celebrated at school. If you would like to send a snack for your child’s special day, please send a low sugar, nutritious treat such as muffins and fruit juice.
PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
We
feel the goal of education is parents and teachers working together to meet the
needs of children. You are encouraged
to visit your child’s class anytime.
ILLNESS
Children with coughs, colds, fevers, or other signs
of illness should be kept at home. If
your child is not well enough to play outside during recess, please do no send
them to school. Please let us know if
your child is ill or will not be in school.
If your child becomes ill at school, we will contact you immediately.
BOOK
ORDERS
Reading to children is the single most important factor in the child’s success of learning to read at school. We will be sending home book order forms from time to time. You are under no obligation to order.
