SUMMER PLAY CAMP for ages 3 – 6
was held June 13-30, 2005.
Watch for it again in the Summer of 2006

Summer Play Camp gives children precious time to get in touch with the beauty and mystery of the earth.  Weekly activities include art, music, movement, literature, cooking, science, free learning centers, and outdoor play.  We blend Christian values into learning experiences and welcome children of all faiths. This play camp will offer the benefit of certified teachers working with young children in a safe nurturing environment.  Small class size will be maintained and nutritious snacks will be offered.

The themes for 2005 were:

Cowboys and Ranch Life – Learn about Wyoming’s past and present cowboys and ranchers.  “Guest appearances” of ranch animals.

Frogs/Toads and Pond Life – Discover the delight of the abundant life in pond water.  This theme engages the natural curiosity of every child.

Transportation – From boats and cars to trains and trucks, explore the movement and parts of some vehicles.  Girls will love this theme too.

Daily Blessing Activity:  Children will make a spiritual connection with the earth through music, movement, and thanksgiving.

Here’s what some parents had to say last year:
”The first day my daughter was shy about coming, but by the second day, she couldn’t wait to get there.”

“We enjoyed finding out what our children (ages 3 & 4) were interested in and how they were doing.  We thought it was great how the themes for each week were taught through various methods.”

“My four-year old son absolutely loved it.  I am very pleased with how he adapted to a new situation.”
