Note: If 1 January, 15 August, or 1 November falls on a Saturday or Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated. If 15 August or 8 December falls on a Sunday, the Feast is celebrated the next day, but the obligation to attend Mass is abrogated.

The Pope has declared this to be the year of the Rosary and added the Mysteries of Light, or Luminous Mysteries. Said every Sunday before Mass. Can be said daily in the comfort of your home, car, during walks... All you need is a rosary or even your fingers. Ten fingers = ten Hail Marys.
