We can use the virtue of faith by making an act of faith. But to use this virtue constantly, being aware of God's presence in us and about us at all times, is more that we can do ourselves unless the Holy Spirit does it in us.
Wisdom - The gift
enables us to judge correctly concerning the things of God. God is love and
the Holy Spirit gives the wisdom of love to appreciate divine things, even
crosses and tribulations, and really relish them, even though at times they
may be repulsive to human nature.
Understanding - This gift gives us the insight into the mysteries of
faith so that we may live by them.
Counsel - Advice, the gift of the Holy Spirit through which we receive
His light to guide us in practical matters.
Fortitude - This gives us a Christ like courage to love God in the
face of all obstacles, even death.
Knowledge - Enables us to see God reflected in all creatures and to
praise Him in them, but yet to see the nothingness of creatures in themselves
so that we will desire God alone.
Piety - 1. Attracts us to reverence to God as our Father and all others
as His children, our brethren.
2. A special love and devotion to God and His saints.
3. Zeal in prayer and worship.
4. Affection and gratefulness to parents, country, etc.
Fear of the Lord - Great awe and reverence for Our Lord, which keeps
us from offending Him by sin.
Charity - Virtue
that enables us to love God above all things, and to love our neighbor for
the love of God.
Joy - Bliss, happiness.
Peace - A feeling harmony, serenity.
Patience - Lack of complaint, tolerance, endurance for what bothers
you.
Benignity - Kindness, compassion for others in need.
Goodness - All the qualities and virtues which make us what God wants
us to be.
Longanimity (long suffering) - Suffering without complaining, accepting
an incurable illness.
Mildness - Gentleness, mercy, consideration toward all others.
Faith - Virtue by which we believe all that God has revealed: also,
the body of truths which we believe.
Modesty - Purity or chastity in ones words and actions, and also in
regards to dress and sex.
Continency - Control over impure desires and acts.
Chastity - Virtue of purity in thought, word and act.

Presumption - The belief that one
can save himself without God's help, or that God's help alone will save with
the efforts of the individual.
Despair - Deliberate refusal to trust in God, a sin against hope.
Resisting the known truth - Knowing the truth, but not admitting to
it.
Envy of another's spiritual good -
Obstinacy in sin
