The annual appeal, Living and Giving in Christ: Unity through Diocesan Ministries, will begin May 1-2.
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand”
(I Chronicles 29:14).
Living and Giving in Christ: Unity through Diocesan Ministries is the annual appeal for Diocese of Cheyenne.
The purpose of the annual appeal is to acquire regular, yearly contributions to generate vital and dependable financial support to secure operational costs of the Chancery Office, which, in turn, provides the infrastructure behind every parish in the Diocese of Cheyenne. The bishop and his staff assist parishes to do what they cannot do alone, by providing critical support to parish leaders and their ministry. Living and Giving in Christ funds contribute 56 percent of the revenue for the Diocese of Cheyenne. For these reasons, your contributions to Living and Giving in Christ are the lifeblood of the Diocese and its parishes.
Your gifts specifically support evangelization, outreach, faith formation for all ages, seminarian and diaconate formation, campus ministries, clergy support, human resources, financial guidance, and IT assistance. In addition, healing ministries are made available through the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Tribunal, and the legislative liaison works tirelessly to lobby for state laws that reflect Catholic Social Teaching. Every gift to Living and Giving in Christ communicates care for our sisters and brothers in Christ and builds up the Church.
