The Office of Pastoral Formation builds up parishes, missions, and schools in the many areas of direct ministry and service they offer to the People of God. To help accomplish this goal, this office:
Joe Wotawa completed his Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy, with a minor in Sociology, at Saint Louis University. After completing his undergraduate degree, Joe taught Theology and English at a Catholic high school in Saint Louis, Missouri, while also serving as a campus minister, as Assistant Director of Service, and a volleyball coach. During his time teaching, Joe also served in faith formation at his local parish, planned and assisted with parish social outreach, and served in school governance for area Catholic schools.
After three years of teaching, Joe completed his Master of Divinity at the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University. During this time, Joe helped his parish transition to a new model of preparation for Confirmation in accord with directions from the Archdiocese of San Francisco. During his studies, Joe also offered spirituality sessions at an area non-profit.
Joe is grateful to serve the Church in Wyoming and to work with committed Catholics from across the state. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, running, playing soccer, and photogprahy.
